D.Barbosa is family of coffee producers, consisting of fathers, mothers, sons and in-laws, all dedicated to cultivating coffee that is truly special, in order to honour their ancestors who began this culture in 1930.
But for D.Barbosa family isn’t just limited to blood relatives and matrimonial ties, they’re an inclusive family and include all of their contributors. It’s a culture built upon respect, friendship, cooporation, growth and empowering each other every day. This culture is the pure reason why many members have been with the family for over 25 years.
Danilo Barbosa works alongside his sons, Vitor Marcelo and Sérgio Ricardo. Between them they make up the fourth and fifth generations of coffee production at D.Barbosa. The journey began with Danilo’s great-grandparent Elias Barbosa, though back then the coffee was produced for family and friends only.
It was Danilo’s father, Jairo who was responsible rethinking the business model of coffee production at D.Barbosa, not just to become a businessman, but in order to allow people to experience the same sensations that he did when drinking his coffee.
